The Cane Corso is an Italian breed of dog, for years valued highly in Italy as a companion, guardian and hunter.
Despite
the Cane Corso size, they make good house dogs. The Corso definitely needs socialization, and it is strongly urge that
owners obedience train their dog with a professional dog trainer. The breed is suspicious of strangers, but wonderful
with the family. If the pack order is correct the dog should be submissive to all members of the family.
If
raised correctly this breed is great with children. (Never leave any small child alone with any dog) If bred correctly
they can be very protective, yet gentle. The Corso devotedly loves his/her family and in particular children with whom
they behave delicately and gently. I have seen it time and time over!
When looking for a Cane
Corso, don't look for the biggest or for a certain color. Make sure you look for the right dog that is going to fit
in with YOUR FAMILY. Each dog is different.
We don't breed for the Rottweiler or Pit
Bull type body and head, but rather the True Italian type of Cane Corso that is close to the breed standard as possible. That's
why most of our dogs come from direct Italian imports, we import ourselves over the years. Make sure you get a written
health Guarantee of at least 2 years.
Don't you deserve the dog of you DREAMS!
