THE CANE CORSO IS A MED-LARGE WORKING DOG. IT IS A DESCENDENT OF THE OLD TIME ANCIENT ROMAN MOLOSSER WAR DOG THAT
WERE PITTED AGAINST LIONS IN ANCIENT ROMAN TIMES. THEY ARE VERY STRONG AND PROTECTIVE WITH A VERY STABLE TEMPERAMENT.
THEY WERE USED AS FLOCK GUARDIANS. TODAY THEY ARE USE AS GUARD DOGS THAT ARE VERY LOYAL TO THEIR FAMILY AND QUITE ALOOP
OF STRANGERS. THESE DOGS SHOULD HAVE A VERY PROTECTIVE NATURE.

Some assume that Cane Corsos are aggresive by nature due to size this is not true! Corsos
are very loyal, docile but protective companions (when properly trained). A corso should never be aggressive,
unless defending you or your family against a valid perpetrator. They are wonderful with children and an all around
good companion. Corsos are athletic, large, agile, loving and stubborn. The Cane Corso craves regular affection,
attention and interaction with its family. I would not dare try to pawn them off as flawless dogs. They are
prone to things like hip and elbow dysplasia, cherry eye, entropion and demodetic mange. If not reared by worthy owners
or responsible breeders, they can be the complete opposite of a wonderful dog.

-
The breeder's dogs seem unhealthy or poorly socilized.

- The breeder does not ask you screening questions about the kind of home you will provide.
